Self-hosting. Own your stack.
Run your own server instead of renting SaaS seats. Self-host Nextcloud, Gitea, Vaultwarden, Home Assistant and hundreds of open-source apps on a VPS you control from €2.54/mo - full root, Docker-ready, no per-user fees, data in the jurisdiction you choose.
AlphaVPS self-hosting VPS = one flat-rate server replacing a stack of SaaS subscriptions: Nextcloud for files, Gitea for code, Vaultwarden for passwords, Mattermost for chat - 100+ open-source apps, unlimited users, no per-seat fees. Full root, Docker Compose-ready, from €2.54/mo in 7 locations with EU data residency (Sofia · Nuremberg · London). Own network AS203380, since 2013.

Every app is another monthly seat - $5/user here, $10/user there. A team of 10 easily burns $200–500/month on tools with free, self-hosted equivalents.
SaaS means someone else owns your data, changes features on their schedule, and raises prices at will. When a service shuts down, your workflow dies with it. Self-hosting buys permanence, privacy and predictable cost - often less than one subscription.
Own your digital stack.
A single VPS replaces dozens of subscriptions: Nextcloud for files, Gitea for code, Vaultwarden for passwords - one server, one flat price.
The right server for your scale.
From a personal password manager to a full team workspace - size the VPS to the number and weight of apps.
One rack of apps. A stack of cancelled seats.
Six SaaS bills our customers cancel most - and the open-source app that replaces each, with honest sizing. Click a slot; the ledger does the math for a 10-person team.
Files, sync, calendar, contacts - plus Collabora for documents. The anchor tenant of most self-hosted racks; give it RAM and NVMe.
What you can self-host.
There’s a self-hosted alternative for almost every SaaS product. The most-deployed categories, each with free, open-source options.
Your apps, your jurisdiction.
Pick a PoP near your users for speed - or a specific jurisdiction for privacy and data residency. Every location deploys in 60 seconds.

CONTACT SALESBasic Linux familiarity helps, but modern tooling is friendly: Docker Compose deploys most apps in one command, and CasaOS, Coolify or Portainer add a web UI on top. If you can follow a tutorial, you can self-host.
A 2 GB Cheap VPS: 3–5 light apps (Vaultwarden, Pi-hole, Uptime Kuma). A 4–8 GB High-Performance VPS: 8–12 (Nextcloud, Gitea, Mattermost, Grafana…). Docker keeps each isolated with minimal overhead.
As secure as you make it - SSH keys, a UFW firewall, unattended security updates and HTTPS via Let’s Encrypt cover most vectors; Docker isolates the apps from each other. The privacy gain is unambiguous: your data stays on your server.
Point BorgBackup or Restic at your Docker volumes and databases, push nightly to an offsite backup VPS via cron, and test restores quarterly. Most apps also ship native export features. See the backup storage solution for the full 3-2-1 pattern.
Largely. Nextcloud covers files/calendar/contacts, Collabora or OnlyOffice covers documents, Mattermost or Matrix covers chat, Plausible covers analytics. Email is the honest gap - most self-hosters keep email managed and self-host the rest.
Docker makes updates a pull-and-restart; Watchtower automates it. For critical apps many operators update manually after reading changelogs. Either way, you set the schedule - nobody force-migrates your UI on a Tuesday.
Point a domain at the VPS, run a reverse proxy (Nginx Proxy Manager, Traefik or Caddy) with Let’s Encrypt, and give each app a subdomain - cloud.you.com, git.you.com. Works like SaaS, lives on your server. Managed setup is available if you want it done for you.
A €2.54/mo Cheap VPS running Vaultwarden, Pi-hole and Uptime Kuma - three subscriptions replaced for less than a coffee. Add apps until the RAM complains, then upgrade the plan.
