Three nodes is the quorum minimum for a reason. Fail any node below - the HA manager restarts its VMs on surviving hardware and Ceph re-replicates placement groups. Fail enough to lose quorum, and you'll see exactly why we won't sell you two.

Three - quorum needs a majority vote, so a 3-node cluster survives one node failure. Production estates usually run 7+ for better fault tolerance and storage flexibility. The failover drill above shows exactly what happens below quorum.
Ceph is the default: triple replication for maximum resilience, or erasure coding for storage efficiency. ZFS on local NVMe (~200K+ IOPS) when a VM needs maximum I/O. LVM-Thin for ephemeral workloads like CI runners. Backends mix freely within one cluster.
Yes. Provide a Letter of Authorization and we announce your /24 or larger prefix from AS203380. BYOASN works too - peer with your own autonomous system for custom routing policies and multi-homed setups.
Isolated Layer 2 segments between your cluster nodes - traffic never touches the public internet. Configure them via Proxmox's SDN module or standard Linux bridges; the physical switch configuration is handled on our side.
